What this range covers
Magnesium's case is simple arithmetic: at ≈1.8 g/cm³ it is the lightest structural metal in serial use, machines faster than any other, and damps vibration that aluminium passes straight through. Casting grades carry gearbox and transmission housings; rare-earth grades hold their strength at temperatures that retire the AZ family.
The range spans wrought AZ grades, sand- and investment-casting compositions, high-temperature rare-earth grades and machined tooling plate — supplied to order with the corrosion-protection and handling guidance magnesium demands.
