About Ti-3Al-2.5V (Grade 9)
Ti-3Al-2.5V bridges the gap between commercially pure titanium and Ti-6Al-4V: about 60 % of Grade 5's strength advantage, yet cold-workable enough to be drawn into seamless tubing. Cold-worked and stress-relieved (CWSR) tube reaches strength levels unavailable in CP grades.
It is the standard material for aircraft hydraulic and fuel lines and a popular choice for high-performance tubular structures. DMK Alloys supplies Grade 9 as bars and blanks for tubular and machined components.
