About Alloy 263

Alloy 263 was developed to give fabricators an age-hardenable superalloy that is genuinely easy to form and weld in the solution-treated condition, then hardened to strength after fabrication. It offers excellent intermediate-temperature ductility and stable properties in service to about 850 °C.

The grade is a standard for combustion-chamber rings, casings and other fabricated hot-gas-path structures where formability decides manufacturing cost. DMK Alloys supplies Alloy 263 as sheet-route blanks, rings, bars and shaped components.
