About Alloy 90
Alloy 90 adds a substantial cobalt content to the age-hardenable nickel–chromium base of Alloy 80A, raising temperature capability by roughly 100 °C. The result is a wrought superalloy with strong creep-rupture performance to about 920 °C and good resistance to thermal fatigue and oxidation.
It is a long-established choice for turbine blading, hot springs and high-temperature fasteners where 80A runs out of margin. DMK Alloys supplies Alloy 90 as bars, forged blanks and finished components heat treated to specification.
