About Alloy C-276
Alloy C-276 is a low-carbon, low-silicon nickel–molybdenum–chromium alloy with a tungsten addition, designed to survive the most aggressive process chemistries: wet chlorine, hot contaminated mineral acids, hypochlorite and chloride-bearing brines. The low carbon suppresses carbide precipitation at welds, so fabricated equipment keeps its corrosion resistance as-welded.
It is the reference grade among the corrosion-resistant nickel alloys and a frequent problem-solver where stainless steels pit or crack. DMK Alloys supplies Alloy C-276 bars, blanks and machined components for chemical-process and offshore duties.
